For the past few months, I have been trying to convince Ellie to get a hair cut. Ellie wanted "LONG PRINCESS hair".
UNTIL,
my younger sister, ALISSE, inspired Elle with her new STYLE!
Ellie loved Aunt Leasy's hair so much, she wanted hers COLORED & CUT just like it.
We went down to LolliLocks as soon as we could, but we had to make an appointment for the next day, Tuesday. SO we DID.
{I knew that our cousin, LaRee would have done a much better job, but... Ellie wanted it done right away. We tried to get into LaRee, but it wasn't gonna work.}
MONDAY :

TUESDAY : and headed to Lolli Locks.
I told the lady cutting Ellie's hair-
* A - LINE (longer in the front/angled)
* Below her chin
{Don't you HATE when your hair stylist doesn't do what you say?}
The first cut the lady did was pretty dramatic.
She had Ellie's hair split down the middle, and wet.
When Ellie saw her LONG hair on the FLOOR, and then looked in the mirror.... her face said it all.
{I wanted to cry for her}
Ellie's support was a little distracted:
When the lady was done she left Ellie's hair WET & sprayed some glitter & sent us on our way.
I promised her I would style it myself when we got home.
Ellie is so cute no matter what.
We are still trying to find our favorite way to style it.
P.S. - The cut is opposite of what I said... and one side is totally UNEVEN! I think it is actually longer in the back!
I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, I am just so annoyed at LolliLocks. They have trimmed Ellie's hair before... BUT I will NOT return there for a girls hair cut.
Once her hair grows about 2 inches, I will like it more.
FOR NOW- we will have some fun trying out different styles with it!
She does makes this hairstyle look good!
