Auburn is getting OLD!

Happy Birthday Aunt Auburn.
I love you.
I love when you babysit me. Tell me when I can come over to play with Roxy.
I am glad I was named after you, because you are so pretty & you always are silly to me.
Are you really thirty?
My mom said you were.
I am four now.

Yahoo!!!

I am FINALLY FOUR!!!

(Nice BUMBO!)

Ellie at 3

Ella Bella, I can't believe your FOURTH birthday is here! I've absolutely LOVED you as a 3 year old, so I wanted to jot down some of my favorite things about you at this age:

*You're so girly- you love pink, princesses, dresses, high heels, and looking beautiful.
*You still have a hard time sleeping in your own bed- and your Daddy loves to cuddle with you, so it doesn't help!
*Your Daddy is your Prince Charming.
*You want to be just like your Mommy when you grow up.
*You started gymnastics and excelled quickly! All of your coaches, especially Coach Suzanne, is so proud of you! You'd beam with pride when people in the family would come watch your practices and/or gymnastics meets.
*You started dance, and love to come home and show us what you learned.
*I swear, your favorite word to add to any sentence is AlWaYs! For example, "I love your shirt always!" or "I eat my dinner all gone always!"
*You love cartoons like Dora the Explorer, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and more.
*You started to like to watch Sponge Bob- even though all your Aunts & Grandma wish you wouldn't! We think it's a pointless cartoon!
*Your sign language skills really soared this year- I would teach you 10 new signs in 5 minutes, and you'd remember them all 2 weeks later, without any practice in between. I think you have a photographic memory- which will really help you in school!
*You would always ask me to show you what new signs I learned in school the day before.
*Your favorite signs are colors & animals. I think that's because you know those signs all so well!
*You really like to type your name on the computer. I can't believe you know how to do that at 3 years old! You also know how to navigate the mouse & the keyboard.
*Even though you haven't learned how to read yet, you like to pretend to read magazines, books, and scriptures! You're so silly.
*You love to say things are silly!
*You really started to get into making silly faces whenever the camera came out. You want everyone else who is going to be in the picture to make silly faces, too!
*Noah is your very best friend. You two are together probably 6 out of the 7 days of the week. You fight a lot, but are still such close friends. When we ask each of you who your best friend is, you say each other.
*You love all of your cousins.
*You name all of your baby dolls after your baby cousins: Jonnie, Hudson, etc.
*You love to be the "Mother Hen." You were the oldest in your nursery class, and was more like a babysitter than an actual Primary student. Your teachers loved you!
*You love all babies so much and can't wait to have a little brother or sister.
*You love MATCHING! If you know Roxy is coming over, you have to find out what she is wearing that day so you will match. And even if you & I aren't really matching, you find something similar in our clothing. For example: "Look Leasy! I am wearing a brown shirt and your purse has brown on it!"
*You were obsessed with having long hair. You knew girls like my little friend Madison Moore, Christie Jo, and others who had long, beautiful hair and you wanted it as long as theirs! Also, you noticed how all Disney princesses have long hair- and since you're a princess, you needed long hair too! In February 2008, I cut my hair short, and once you saw it- you finally decided you wanted to cut your hair short as well. You're a princess with long or short hair!
*You're really into playing any type of game. You always want someone to make up a game to play with you, and you try to figure out complicated board games on your own.
*We have lots of names for you- Elle, Elles, Ella Bella, Missy Elliot, El-Camino, Jellie, etc... but you make sure people know your real name is Ellie Auburn Cinderella Princess Cummard.
*Ellie, ever since you were born- you've been a social butterfly! You love to talk to new people, and can make friends with anyone.
*You want Ranch on top of almost any food.
*You love all kinds of dips for your food- just like the Sherwood side of the family.
*You want to wear a princess dress every day of the week.
*You started talking in a country voice- we think it started from Tim McGraw's song- "1, 2, 3, Like a Bird I see.." because kids sing in one part of the song with country accents. But it's even more from the Disney Channel hit TV show- "Hannah Montana."
*You pronounce Hannah Montana's name: "Hannah Mon-a-tana."
*You love to play dress-up... even with your boy cousin, Noah!
*Anytime you see my Garments you say, "I get to wear those when I get married in The Temple!"
*When you get hurt, or when you're sad about something, all you want is your Daddy.
*You had a big mouth/teeth surgery- and you were such a trooper! You even learned from it, and tell your Daddy not to buy you "junk" at the store anymore! You're too silly!
*It's so funny when someone else gets in trouble for something, you love to make sure the adult knows you weren't the naughty one. For example, if Noah kicks me, and I get upset with him, you'll come over and play with my hair and give me a kiss just to show how you're the good girl at that moment.
*You learned how to pout when something doesn't go the way you wanted it to. You start to mumble and raise your voice a little at the end of the sentence. We don't necessarily love when you do this, but it's funny to remember you at age 3 doing that!
*You get over things so quickly. If you're in trouble for something, you'll be sad for maybe 30 seconds, and then you'll completely forget it happened and start smiling & laughing again.
*You can already recognize what it means to make the right choices- and you know Heavenly Father is happy when you do.
*I love it when you draw me pictures. You're really into that right now, and your pictures look more and more like what you say they are. You're good at drawing people, and your name. Your Mommy told me you get quite upset if you ever find some of your "sketches" in the garbage! Sometimes it's hard to keep every little paper you draw on, but you certainly think it's important!
*You loved when I'd bring you home books/movies from the library.
*I brought you home a "Families are Special" Barney and Friends movie one day because I know you love your family. You must've really loved it, because you ask me to bring you home a Barney movie every time I go to the library. We think Barney is a little too...um...silly, so I always try to change your mind!
*You really loved the "Signing Time" (with Alex & Leah) DVD's from the library.
*You're such a big girl when you sleep over at my house. You have your own room "the red room upstairs" and sleep in it all night all by yourself.
*I'm glad you sleep in your own room at my house because you are all over the place in bed at night! You love to be the line that makes a "capital H" between Scott and I.
*You'd love to visit me at work. (Desert Schools Credit Union) You thought you were so cool when you'd get to sit behind the desk at the bank!
*You love to be complimented. Sometimes you fish for compliments, and it's so cute & funny.
*You're also always giving compliments, and boosting other peoples' self esteem!
*When asked what you want to drink in your sippy, you always tell me juice. You also like milk, Propel, and "pop-pop."
*You love cereal, just like your Daddy.
*You're fine to hang out with the adults all day. You know how to entertain yourself, and are happy in almost any environment.
You just recently started to get scared walking out to the Rec Room from Grandma Vicki & Poppie's house. You'll ask if someone can come with you, but you usually assure us, "Not because I'm scared, just because I want you to come with me."
*Sometimes we'd be mean and liked to scare you & Noah with "the mask." It was so sad because you'd want us to hold you, and you'd clench on to us so tight. You'd usually try to hide your face in our shoulders, too.
*On the other hand, you like to be scared by us peeking around a corner and surprising you with a loud, "Boo!" At first your face is shocked, but then you laugh really hard and tell us to do it again.
*You have lots of cute "jammas" (pajamas) but sometimes all you want to wear is your orange Bro Systems shirt.
*You love to play with the boys, but when they start playing rough or doing sporty activities, you don't really fit in. You must've got my poor coordination & clumsiness!
*I want to cry so hard for you when you tell me there were some certain girls who weren't nice to you that day. I don't know who couldn't love every single thing about you.
*Ella Belle, you love life. You love to laugh, and sometimes force a laugh even when something isn't funny- just because you love being happy!
*Your smile melts my heart.

*I absolutely love when I go to leave somewhere, and you have to tell me goodbye and give me loves before I leave. I especially love when I sign "I Love You" and you sign back, "I Love You MORE!"

I Love You the MOST Ellie!!

Love, Leasy

I love my Cummard cousins

I love Emma.
Her & I love to play with very girly things.

We have a fun time everytime we play.

My dads brothers love to watch their youngest (not littlest) brother play BasKeTbAll for BYU.

Today Lee got awarded

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

for the Mountain West, along with someone else.

Oh--- and I miss Casey. He is Lee & Sarah's baby. He is so cute.

Today, I picked oranges with my dad and cousins, played outside, and then went shopping with my Grandma Cheryl for my birthday.
It was so fun today.
I love to be silly with them. - Can you tell?
Oh yeah, we built a castle with this wood...
More silly girls.
I love having so many cousins!

PHOTO SHOOT of the TWINS

Roxy was able to spend the night for TWO NIGHTS! Auburn knew Ellie would DIE if she packed Rox clothes that Ellie had, too.
ELLIE LOVES MATCHING!!
After I "dolled them up" in my "salon", we had to do a PHOTO SHOOT.
This was Ellie's first idea:
Ellie hates jeans, and shorts. BUT when it comes to matching.... different story!

POSER!

I told them I would take them to the park when they were done.
{MAN, it was hot for a couple days this week!}

Later that night, I put Ellie & Roxy in the bike trailer & took them on a bike ride.
Roxy insisted on having 3 things that she kept holding all night.
1) A Polly Pocket- she named her "Cookie". She took her everywhere, honestly.
2) Her pink baby blanket.
3) Her red heart necklace I made her a week ago.
All girl???
After about 2 1/2 miles, the girls were still awake & talking. I decided to give them my I-POD & let each of them have a ear piece. I set my "Slow-Sleep Music". I had to keep saying "Roxy, stop talking!"
When we got back home, guess who was OUT?
ELLIE!!!

ROXY on the other hand...... WIDE AWAKE!

"Uncle LA LA" laughed with her,
they played games, (get my belly)
and then he read her some books to help her calm down.
Lance is the BEST UNCLE!
{ best dad & husband, too!}
Ellie was a good little girl and stayed asleep!
(NICE Polly Pocket in her hand, too!- She named hers "Cobie".)

Ellie was in heaven.

She needs a sister.....

or a brother!

Are You Sad, Mom?

While I was getting ready today, Ellie came in and asked me:
"MOM, ARE YOU SAD?"
I answered:
"NO, WHY?"
Ellie:
"WERE YOU SAD BECAUSE YOU WERE MISSING A BOBBY PIN?"
I was trying to tell her how many bobby pins I had.....
Ellie:
"I BET YOU WERE SAD BECAUSE I FOUND THE BOBBY PIN YOU WERE MISSING."
She loves when she finds something for me, and she usually asks me if I had been looking for something all day. If something is found that belongs to her, she gets so happy & tells me that she had been looking all over the place for it, all day long!
